We openned Remedial Clinic for children and adults with the diagnostics of spine, joints and muscles. To keep up with the time, we implement the technology into rehabilitation. Always having in mind well-being of our patients.
Physical medicine and rehabilitation physician works on Mondays and Wednesdays.
– is Preventive Medicine Project, and its biggest goal is to motivate people in Silesia to take care of their health when they are healthy. It is fulfilled through supporting health in every stage of life and educating people about healthy habits. As it is written in the Hippocrates’s – „I will prevent disease whenever I can, for prevention is preferable to cure”
Human body needs physical activity for right working. This is why movement and sport should be associated with health, and it means spending our future in parks, on fields, but not in hospitals
Sticking to restrictive diets weakens our body’s defense reaction and raises the risk of infections. Healthy diet should include proper amount of all the macronutrients and micronutrients which reduce susceptibility to infections.
Deep and regenerating sleep with appropriate quality and duration helps people to be threefold less susceptible to catch virus infection, than people who does not sleep in such way.
Lack of sleep declines concentration, reduces work performance, what is more it is a risk factor of heart diseases, depression, cancer, tumour and diabetes.
Social isolation may lead to bad mood and as a last resort to serious disease, e.g. depression, what reduces body’s immunity. Its consequence are appearing somatic diseases, which activate so called multimorbidity in our bodies.
Healthy nutrition, physical activity, resignment of drugs and prophylaxis create together “spiral of life”, which protects from typical diseases of civilization such as vascular system diseases, tumor, diabetes, obesity and many others. The change of our lifestyle functions and gives us long-term positive consequences.
Thanks to our cooperation with Silesian Stadium we could be the part of the final of The Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity, where we tested children and adults on our BodyMap Platform. The scientific Group Twain from Silesian Univeristy of Silesia tested molecular composition of breathing phases among children. It is the beginning of our pilot project “Faulty posture and obesity among children and teenagers”.
In September 2023 we were invited to 31 st defence industry exhibition. We could present our project “barrier tent” which will be produced in cooperation with PARTNER SYSTEMS.
ACM AWF Katowice took part in Silesian campaign “Silesia for woman”. We could talk about oncological prophylaxis but also about rehabilitation for women who struggle with cancer.
We are pleased to inform that on the 20th of September was signed a cooperation agreement between Song and Dance Ensemble “Śląsk” and our company Akademickie Centrum Medyczne AWF Katowice Ltd.
The Theme of this meeting was „The improvement of Communications Science – Business”.

The Academy of Physical Education named after Jerzy Kukuczka in Katowice is the best academic university in the ranking of universities. In June 2022 Academy of Physical Education in Katowice took first in the Perspektywy University Ranking 2022
The cooperation of the company and the public academy is a solution for the challenges caused by diseases and pandemic. Thanks to the cooperation with Academy of Physical Education with very well developed Faculty of Physiotherapy, the philosophy of ACM-AWF Katowice fit perfectly into the frames of Regional Strategy of Innovations in Silesian voivodship, where the Progress of rehabilitation is one of the most important course.
The activity of Akademickie Centrum Medyczne based on the cooperation with the Academy of Physical Education where the main goal is the promotion of health, is connected with education and educational events, researches and new technologies but most of all patients’ treatment. It all takes part using new technologies and takes into consideration senior politics with its all aspects.
